Grand junction

Brrrr, 6 coffee stops, scarab winter gloves held good for a few hours, had to pass off the winter elite gloves to each other at fuel stops. Massive hills and passes. Salina was last gas/support for 110 miles. Made a few extra stops to swap to a warm rider. Rain suits over riding gear keeps you much warmer. Literally NOTHING to see but massive Rocks lit be a full moon, beautiful and eerie.

  1. 510 miles in ONE DAY on a MadAss 125? I'm impressed. When we took the TGB Delivery scooters from NY to LA we took a tough route, but you guys are taking an even tougher route! Through the mountains and making 500+ miles per day is INSAIN! If my calculations are right, you should make Denver with time to spare tomorrow (so rest!), then Monday you'll end up somewhere around Salina, KS. Tuesday you might make it as far as St Louis. Columbus on Weds, Gettysburg on Thursday? That is crazy! Thank you for posting your blogs, I'm glued to this adventure. Bill

  2. Forgot to ask... have you guys called the local Denver TV stations? I'm sure they will want to talk to you.
