IT IS ALIVE...

Dr. MadAss has been hard at work transplanting a Piranha 150cc motor into one of his test subjects. With a 56.4 mm bore and 59mm stroke this motor packs a better punch than stock. The shift pattern is different with N being on the bottom and 4 up from there. He installed the Mikuni 26mm and the Japanese exhaust (loud). Oil cooler installed and ready to ride we took it out for a blast in the neighborhood and suffice to say we're positively impressed. More testing and results to follow.

Cross Country Preparations

The Dr. MadAss crew is headed off on a cross country expedition to test the MadAss 125 and the POC/HMF BadAss exhaust system SEE A VIDEO HERE. Our journey will start in San Diego, CA at Motorsport Scooters where we will be launching and riding a MadAss 125 from the West Coast to the East Coast. Our initial plan is to cover about 400 miles per day. The bike is essentially stock with a few modifications made for freeway practicality. We've installed the POC 39 tooth rear sprocket and 15 tooth front sprocket which gives us a much better touring speed. We've swapped the stock carb for a 26mm Mikuni and abandoned the stock airbox. We've installed the new POC/HMF BadAss pipe which we'll be testing along side the stock pipe and a lightly modified stock pipe as we travel. This type of real world testing should give us practical results and a real sense of durability.

Welcome to Dr. Madass! The Doctor is the worlds first "Sach's Therapist" and is here to help you make a BadAss out of your MadAss. Follow along over the next two weeks and witness as our own Phil Waters and James Robertson take a MadAss cross country to show the vigor and durability of this little bike. Then, continue to follow as we post pictorial and video information on modifying the MadAss to meet it's full potential.

We have been performing autopsies in the lab and have been fleshing out the good and the bad in the Madass performance parts world. Including a prototype of our own custom POC/HMF MadAss performance exhaust. Exciting things are to come. Check back often as the site develops into the most comprehensive MadAss resource.

Sincerely,

Dr. MadAss
